I finally got a new picture. This is me at the beach, August 2003. Here are some other pictures.

Now For Something Completely Different...

Hey! Guess what??? I'm an ESTJ, according to the Keirsey Temperament Sorter. Well, sometimes, I'm also an ENTJ. The N/S thing is the only wobbly part. I'm E*TJ through and through.

Even better then reading about ME -- yes, it's now POSSIBLE!! -- you, too, can take the test!!! Reveal the real you!!! THEN, check out your personality profile to read about yourself. Here's another page with type information. It's fun, it's easy, and you have nothing better to do if you are reading this, anyway...

So, what was my favorite question on the test? The last: Is it worse to be considered merciless or unjust? Can you guess how I answered? Aren't you just *dying* to know? By the way, my **HERO** -- Vice President Al "What Fundraising?" Gore -- is an ENTJ. I knew there had to be a reason I liked him so much!! Fundraising, Schmundraising -- Big Deal. Norman Schwarzkopf is also an ENTJ, and I have, in my time, been called, "Stormin' Norman"...I don't know why...I'm a very quiet and reserved person ;-) ...Okay, I'll tell you how I answered the merciless/unjust question: I think/know it is worse to be unjust. Not to be Ms. Doom & Gloom or anything, but some people don't deserve mercy. I'd much rather be known for sticking to my principles. Of course, if you don't LIKE my principles, that could be a problem.

A friend sent me these "quickie" description of the M-B types. Since it's MY page, I'm putting my description first.

A better explanation is:

OKAY!!! Now, for those who have not gotten lost in the personality pages and want to know EVEN MORE about how I came to be where I am, here is a brief history of Moi. Not that any of it actually makes sense...

Small but important details about me. I am proud to be Irish-Italian. I used to be a Republican, but now, much to the horror of my Rockefeller Republican parents, I am a Democrat. They don't seem to understand that their form of Republicanism is no longer acceptable by the likes of...well, I don't want to name names...

I grew up in Connecticut and went to high school at Kent School in the booming metropolis of Kent, CT. I then attended Villanova University where I majored in Computer Science; I was also in Navy ROTC.

You can read abou the rest of my work-related history in my resume.

So, what do I do in my "spare" time?

Well, as I mentioned above, I have started doing SX-70 Manipulations. I also cook Mediterranean food (Italian and Greek are my favorites, although I am trying my hand lately at Provencal), try to learn about wine, drink wine, and dream of opening my own restaurant some day. The restaurant will never happen, but I like to think about it anyway. I also run, do Pilates, and just started taking ballet!!!

My Pets...

CATS. I have been fortunate to have some of the coolest cats ever grace my life. However, I have been unfortunate enough to have lost three of these magnificent creatures since November 1995. First, I lost my #1 cat, Koshka, who was with me for 7 1/2 years, on November 2, 1995. He was sick, escaped the house, and I never saw him again. I got a new cat, Tess, soon thereafter, but, much to my horror, she was killed in a pre-Valentine's Day 1996 hit-and-run incident.

I also lost another awesome individual in early 1998 -- Spot, who died of heartworm. If you have a cat, put him or her on prevention immediately. Spot was a stray that I found and the vet said he had it when I got him, but that did not make it any easier to deal with. I would not want anyone else to have to deal with finding his/her dying cat, which is what happened to me.

I also lost a thrid cat, Ebie, who had been with me since September 1990, in the summer of 2000.

I remain heartbroken over these losses. Sorry if that's overly emotional for some people, but too bad -- it's true. On a happier note, I still have three cats of varying degrees of whatever. . .

DOGS: I got my first dog as a puppy in October 1997 -- in my back yard in Gainesville, FL. She was my dream dog -- an incredibly awesome black lab/pit bull mix. Since meeting my friend Liz's yellow lab/pit bull mix, Otto, a few years ago, I knew that was the type of dog I wanted. Her name is Boca.

My second dog is a full pit bull named Petey, who I found online in June 1999 through Pit Bull Rescue. Not much of a watchdog, though, I am afraid, unless you count blocking the door while he sleeps.

So, the bottom line is, I love my animals. They're cool.

Okay, let's move on...I have put together a bunch of different photo files. They are not complete. Just one more thing for me to do in my spare time...
