My Overall Goal in Life
People sometimes ask me, they say, Patty, when you grow up, what is it that you want to do? How do you want to be remembered? Well, here it is, my goal in life: I'd like, at some point at the pinnacle of my career, to be called a "pointy-headed liberal." No, wait, I want to be called "a pointy-headed member of the liberal elite." No, wait!! I've got it!!! I want to be called - preferably by someone like Rush Limbaugh - "a pointy-headed member of the intellectual liberal elite." Ahh, yes, that's it. I'll then know that I have "made it."
